R42.12 Minor Release

This release is all about operational velocity and privacy. We’ve focused on removing manual bottlenecks in study configuration and API data exchange while strengthening our "Privacy by Design" approach to meet global mandates like GDPR.

EDC

  • Automated "All Forms" Monitoring: Study builders can now set monitoring steps to apply to "All Forms" automatically, eliminating the risk of missing new forms and reducing administrative setup time.

  • Frictionless Subject Creation: We’ve decoupled Subject ID generation from RTSM, allowing sites to initiate subjects directly in EDC for pre-screening or screen-failure tracking.

ePRO

  • Privacy by Design: Sites can now hide or skip email collection for on-site participants, reducing the study's PHI footprint and security exposure.

  • Rich-Text Clarity: Builders can use bold, italics, and underlines in response options to replicate validated paper instruments perfectly and reduce participant cognitive load.

eConsent

  • Targeted Re-Consent: Apply new consent versions only to subjects enrolled after a specific date, eliminating unnecessary "paper-shuffling" for existing participants.

APIs

  • High-Velocity Data Exchange: Replaced sequential API calls with a single consolidated endpoint for RTSM/EDC, significantly reducing system latency and technical troubleshooting.
