Medrio release 42.11 is live with updates to Medrio CDMS/EDC, Medrio eConsent, and Medrio APIs.

These updates focus on enabling flexible monitoring, improving data security, and increasing system reliability.

Medrio CDMS/EDC

Optional Forms in Monitoring
Achieve more flexible, risk-based approaches to monitoring by designating specific forms as "optional". This removes them from the standard monitoring workflow while keeping them available for review at the monitor's discretion.

Enhanced Unplanned Offline Protection
Maintain data integrity during unexpected connectivity loss with expanded caching for complex forms, including grids and Multi-Subject Data Entry (MSDE).

Medrio APIs

DataViews API: PHI Masking
Reduce regulatory and security risks by applying role-based PHI masking to all DataViews API endpoints. Users without specific permissions will see sensitive data redacted in API results.

RTSM: Monitored Form Imports
Streamline automated data flows with a new OpenAPI endpoint that allows RTSM imports to successfully update forms even after they have been monitored.

Medrio eConsent

"Not Applicable" Document Status
Authorized site staff can now mark specific consent documents as "N/A" for a subject. This excludes the document from the overall consent status calculation to ensure accurate compliance reporting.

Variable-Level Locking in Consent eCRFs
Variable-level locking is now disabled for the Consent eCRF to prevent technical sync failures, while form-level locking remains available for final data review.
